Library Ireland Week Event 2010

The Goldsmith Library invites students and staff to a reading with Irish Times columnist Fintan O’Toole from his latest book Ship of Fools on Wednesday the 3rd of March at 12pm. Ship of Fools is a passionate story of the recent reversal in Ireland’s economic fortunes.

Copies available to purchase for author signing on the day.

Gerry Stembridge Visit

Gerry Stembridge


Gerry Stembridge is most famous for his role in the Irish radio comedy programme Scrap Saturday. His film career includes the screenplay for Ordinary Decent Criminal, Nora and About Adam. He has recently authored a number of books including According to Luke and Counting Down.
The author will visit the Goldsmith library on Thursday the 5th of November at 12pm to give a reading from his latest book. Counting Down is the gripping story about a man who decides to live life on his own lethal terms.
